| Love, love, love (and going to miss) the annual Lenten preschool casserole challenge. For the entire season of Lent, classes compete to see who can bring in the most breakfast casseroles and hard-boiled eggs to donate to the Salvation Army Canteen program. They are taken to homeless individuals and families via a mobile unit very early in the morning. Mike used to volunteer with the canteen. I'm so glad our preschool promotes getting kids involved in helping others at an early age. |
